Read my previous blog here if you haven’t yet to know how it started 😄

I had no idea what it was, that piqued my interest; perhaps the post featured colours, people, and places that I adore. I just signed up for that without even thinking about it. The post didn’t give much information about what it was, but it was a great marketing strategy for attracting people. I really appreciate it.

I felt like I had done something big 😝, and I slept well.

Waking up around 6:00 –7:00 am have been my daily routine now whatsoever its weekend. I checked my phone as usual, maybe because I was expecting something, and I saw a ping from an unidentified number. I then realised that the person wants to talk to me before I get to the place where today’s event is happening. I was both excited and nervous about what I might have to do before I got there, especially since it was only a few hours away.
When my phone rang, I answered and said hello. The sound from the other side was extremely upbeat and comforting, making me smile and feel at ease even before we started talking. She began by introducing herself as Dr. Deeksha Sharma, Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Cornell University.

She asked me few things like to introduce and why I wanted to join them today and what are my favourite colours. I started off by saying,

“Art is something I love and Therapy is something I need,”

which is why I am joining you today for the Art Therapy, which was a light introduction. She greatly appreciated and was impressed by these lines.

I’m not sure why I chose these three colours — white, red, and black (maybe because someone recently told me I look good in black😝). Jokes apart, the three to four minutes of conversation were too good. I quickly stood up and prepared to depart shortly. For the day, I wore a black dress once more. I don’t know, but after getting ready, I decided red would be more appropriate for the day. (I think most women have this habit 😝)

I quickly dressed and went to Lahe Lahe, which I later discovered to be one of Bangalore’s best happening spots. When I got to the location, I was still nervous and had a lot of thoughts because it was my first time. I saw a lot of people chatting when I entered the room through the door. There were three halls, one for pottery making and the other for arts. At first glance, I noticed a wide range of people, from babies to senior citizens, hailing from all over the world.

I started checking to see if anyone I knew was there, but to my surprise, no one was there. After that, a beautiful woman❤(My concept of beauty will be very different I can write yet another blog on that )in a red-and-black dress came up to me and gave me a hug. She introduced herself once more as Dr. Deeksha Sharma. She carried a tremendous amount of warmth and energy, which helped me relax and feel at ease throughout.

I chose one of the sitting cushions which were scattered throughout the hallway. I did see another beautiful woman there, preparing our art supplies for us. She introduced herself as Manpreet, a calm and welcoming individual in general, as the session began, I was excited to talk to Manpreet more.

There were about 20 people in the audience. We began by making introductions. Later on, I realised that the majority of us were new to Bangalore and wanted to do something different. The majority of us had traveled there by ourselves and without a companion, and each of us had a story to tell. I now felt more at ease around the audience.

I was overjoyed and grateful to have met such a diverse audience. For the past five years, I have only attended tech events, where I have met people who share my interest in technology, this was something very different to see the world through a different lens.

Deeksha started explaining about Wabi Sabi which meant “Accept what you are and to be peace at it”. The 4 hour session we had practiced 3 techniques with a theory behind it

The 1–1 conversation with Dr. Deeksha and Manpreet was the most amazing part of the whole day. They made my day, I felt like I have started finding things to hold me up at Bangalore. We spoke again over the calls and chats. My special gratitude and heart to both Manpreet and Deeksha for this❤️

Manpreet and Deeksha😍

I even met Dr. Deeksha later in person where we both figured out lot many common things that we have who is now my friend for a life time (We have somethings cooking up ).

With a heart full of happiness and hope I left there and walked towards a Cafe at Indiranagar and had tummy full of food, enjoying with myself.😍
